lyrics
This is the end of your life
This is the end of all time
Don't bother to look at the sky
Fate was sealed, you will die
Life is but a faux mirage
The picture, a mere facade
What is the meaning of life?
Where are the answers to this strife?
Picture perfect, non-existent
Live life, it's not infinite
Or time will pass you by
In the end, it's all a lie
Refusal, don't just believe
See (for) yourself, what this does deem
What is real, and what is a dream
Reality, not what it seems
And time will be
The end of you
Live while you can
It's not too long
And you will die
Life will fly by
Live out your days
Before it's taken away
And you shall fall
Once and for all
There's no escape
Death is your fate
And you will fall
Once and for all
There's no escape
This is your fate
Live life with no regrets
Nothing to hold you back
You have no time to hold on
To the past
You're a fool
You know nothing
Life has had its way with you
You live like life's forever
But it will end
And time will be
The end of you
Live while you can
It's not too long
And you will die
Life will fly by
Live out your days
Before it's taken away
And you shall fall
Once and for all
There's no escape
Death is your fate
And you will fall
Once and for all
There's no escape
This is your fate
I've waited decades to hear something that moved me like this. it's even better than most of the Gothenburg bands that inspired it. flawless album, moved me to tears. wrestingmayhem
All of the instruments flow very well together, just like any melodic black metal album should. Really nice to listen to overall, lyrics are great, and pretty solid writing structure. Highly recommended listen. Can't wait for more! Drew Johnson
These California up-and-comers don't merely pay tribute to ’90s death metal; they make it their own by taking charge and letting it rip. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 21, 2024
I am not a big fan of EPs and I only buy them when there are no fillers on it. This is the case here. "The Loss of All Hope" is strong, varied and dynamic from beginning to end and shows me why melodic death metal used to be one of my favourite genres in the 90s. The opener "Transfiguration" has nice clean vocals in it, "Boundless" could be from Amon Amarth, "Rotten to the Core" has a lot of energy but is not so catchy as the rest like the thrilling end track "Enclosed in Crystals of Ice".
